DREVO Living Mountains — Slide 1

DREVO Living Mountains

International Initiative for the Restoration of Mountain Ecosystems, Water Resources and Biodiversity

From mountain peaks to the sea coast

DREVO Living Mountains — Slide 2

Our vision

Mountains are the source of most of the Earth's fresh water.

This is where they are born:

rivers;

springs;

forests;

fertile soils;

biodiversity.

If mountains die, all the territories located below gradually degrade.

Our goal is to restore the entire water life cycle, starting with mountain catchments.

DREVO Living Mountains — Slide 3

main idea

We view nature as a single system.

Mountain ridges → Slopes → Springs → Streams → Rivers → Floodplains → Deltas → Seas

Each element influences the next.

It is impossible to restore the river without restoring the forest.

It is impossible to preserve a forest without water.

It is impossible to retain water without healthy soil.

Mountain Springs Recovery

Recovery:

springs;

upper reaches of rivers;

groundwater recharge zones.

Result:

increase in fresh water reserves;

restoration of permanent river flows.

DREVO Living Mountains — Slide 7

Mountain Forest Corridors

Creating continuous forest ecosystems:

Watershed Corridor

Slope Corridor

Spring Corridor

River Corridor

Wildlife Corridor

Pollinator Corridor

Forests become water retention infrastructure.

DREVO Living Mountains — Slide 8

Living Mountain Observatory

Global monitoring system.

Used:

satellites;

drones;

sensors;

camera trap;

acoustic stations;

automatic hydroposts.

All data is fed into a digital control system.

DREVO Living Mountains — Slide 9

WOOD River Rover

Robotic family of platforms.

Scout

River exploration.

Clean

Cleaning of rivers.

Restore

Restoration of natural processes.

Cargo Platform

Transportation of materials.

DREVO Living Mountains — Slide 10

TREE AeroSense

Aviation complex:

LiDAR;

spectral survey;

thermal imagers;

vegetation analysis;

search for springs;

erosion control.

DREVO Living Mountains — Slide 11

WOOD AI

Digital intelligence of the project.

Analyzes:

water;

forest;

animals;

climate;

soils;

biodiversity.

Generates recommendations for recovery.

DREVO Living Mountains — Slide 12

Mountain Digital Twin

Creating a digital twin of each catchment area.

Stored:

cards;

photographs;

change history;

river models;

forest models;

development forecasts.

DREVO Living Mountains — Slide 13

DREVO Timber Reserve

Strategic timber reserve.

Main tasks:

preservation of unique trees;

production of bog wood;

scientific research;

legacy of future generations.

DREVO Living Mountains — Slide 14

What are we restoring?

water;

forest;

soil;

animals;

springs;

swamps;

floodplains;

rivers;

climate.

DREVO Living Mountains — Slide 15

Nature is the best engineer

We use:

natural processes;

natural materials;

biodiversity;

modern technologies.

Technologies help nature, not replace it.

DREVO Living Mountains — Slide 16

Our tools

Artificial intelligence

Robots

Drones

Satellites

Environmental sensors

Digital twins

Scientific research

DREVO Living Mountains — Slide 17

Mountains are the heart of the water cycle

Each restored vertex:

⬇

creates new springs

⬇

feeds rivers

⬇

restores floodplains

⬇

supports the seas

Our Heritage

We are not creating a project for five years.

Not for one generation.

We are creating a system that can work:

50

100

300 years

DREVO Living Mountains — Final slide

DREVO Living Mountains

Restoring Water. Restoring Forests. Restoring Life.

By restoring water, we restore forests.

By restoring forests, we restore life.

Suggested second-level structure (for a large presentation of 50–100 slides)

After the introductory part, the presentation can be divided into six major blocks:

Philosophy and scientific foundations- hydrology, forest ecology, biodiversity, nature-based solutions.

Ecosystems and cascades— all nine cascades, types of forest corridors, restoration of springs, rivers, floodplains and swamps.

DREVO Technological Ecosystem — AeroSense, River Rover, Living Mountain Observatory, DREVO AI, Mountain Digital Twin.

Practical projects— pilot territories, stages of implementation, calculation of environmental and socio-economic impact.

International cooperation— participation of states, scientific organizations, businesses and local communities.

Strategy for 100–300 years- watershed management, restoration of natural capital and transfer of ecological heritage to future generations.

This structure will allow us to presentDREVO Living Mountainsnot only as a conservation initiative, but also as a long-term international platform for the management of water resources, forests, biodiversity and climate resilience.
